ADNOC Supplier Registration and Prequalification (2026): Who Can Register, Steps and Documents

How registration on the ADNOC Supplier Hub works, which licence you need, what the prequalification questionnaire asks for, and how ICV fits in. Based on ADNOC’s own published guide and FAQ, with links to each source.

Who can register with ADNOC

According to ADNOC’s Supplier Registration and Prequalification User Guide (updated 24 July 2023), suppliers register as one of these types:

  • Vendor (products) or Contractor (services): needs a commercial licence issued by an Abu Dhabi licensing authority, with activities relevant to the products or services.
  • Manufacturer: needs an industrial licence issued by the licensing authority in its emirate.
  • Associate: a company without an Abu Dhabi licence, represented through an Abu Dhabi-based local agent.

In practice, a company holding only a Dubai trade licence does not qualify as a direct vendor or contractor under these rules. Check the current guide for your case.

Registration steps on the ADNOC Supplier Hub

  1. Go to the ADNOC Supplier Hub and choose to register.
  2. Create an Ariba Network account and activate it from the email you receive.
  3. Complete the Supplier Profile Questionnaire, with the company name exactly as on your commercial licence.
  4. Submit. Once your registration profile is accepted, ADNOC initiates a prequalification questionnaire.

What prequalification asks for

The same guide lists what prequalification assesses, including:

  • experience in successfully supplying or delivering the products or services you applied for;
  • relevant international standards, such as ASME, API or equivalent;
  • quality and HSE manuals or certifications, such as ISO or equivalent;
  • adequate resources, including manpower, skills, equipment and software.

The detailed questionnaire depends on the category and is only visible inside the portal. Written evidence matters: a company profile with comparable projects, HSE and quality documentation, and procedures that show how your policies work.

ICV and ADNOC

ADNOC’s supplier FAQ explains that there is one ICV certificate per trade licence, issued by empanelled certifying bodies based on audited financial statements, and valid for 14 months from the date of issuance of the audited financial statements. Read our ICV certificate guide.

Where Labeeb helps, and where it does not

Labeeb is not affiliated with ADNOC and does not register suppliers, issue ICV certificates or guarantee prequalification or awards. Registration is done by your company on the official portal.

Labeeb prepares the written documents prequalification and tenders rely on: a company profile with comparable projects, HSE and quality documentation, procedures, and technical and commercial tender responses, in English, Arabic or both. For other UAE buyers, see our supplier registration checklist.

ADNOC supplier registration: common questions

Can a Dubai company register as an ADNOC supplier?

ADNOC’s guide requires vendors and contractors to hold a commercial licence from an Abu Dhabi licensing authority. Companies without one can be represented through an Abu Dhabi-based agent as an associate. Check the current guide.

Is there a fee to register with ADNOC?

ADNOC’s published registration guide does not state a registration fee.

What happens after registration?

Once your registration profile is accepted, ADNOC initiates a prequalification questionnaire for your categories.

Does registration guarantee work from ADNOC?

No. Registration and prequalification allow you to be considered; awards depend on each tender.
