Company Profile Writing in Abu Dhabi for Corporates & SMEs

Build a company profile that presents the right legal entity, service capability and verifiable proof for the buyer. A marketing profile, supplier registration and tender response serve different purposes.

Buyer context

Start with the audience and document purpose

An Abu Dhabi corporate prospect may ask for a short capability profile. A government procurement portal may require supplier-registration information. A live tender can request an entirely separate technical response and attachments. One glossy PDF cannot replace those processes. The Abu Dhabi Government Procurement Gate (ADGPG) says registration makes supplier profiles visible to participating buyers, but qualification at registration is not the same as tender shortlisting and does not guarantee business.

The current ADGPG portal distinguishes companies with a valid Abu Dhabi DED licence, which can self-register through its route, from non-DED suppliers, whose registration is initiated by a government entity. Check the portal for the specific entity and current route; a profile writer cannot create eligibility by changing presentation. For ADNOC, the Supplier Hub has a distinct registration and prequalification sequence.

Profile structure

What a buyer-facing profile should prove

Section What to show
Company identity Correct registered name, business activities, locations and contact owner
Relevant capability Services or products tied to the buyer’s actual requirement, not an exhaustive catalogue
Delivery model Team, facilities, partners, geographic coverage and how work is controlled
Track record Permissioned projects, scope, dates and outcomes that can be checked
Credentials Current licences, standards, approvals and the exact legal entity to which they belong
Next step Named contact, enquiry route and the documents available on request

A profile for an institutional buyer can be concise. Include a cover, capability summary, relevant proof and contact route; keep detailed certificates or confidential references in an annex or secure submission where requested. Avoid saying you are “ADNOC approved” or “government certified” unless the named entity, status, category and expiry can be verified. ADNOC’s prequalification guidance distinguishes registration from product or work-group assessment and explains the evidence it may review.

Worked example

Replace generic claims with usable proof

Weak: “We are the leading Abu Dhabi solutions provider with unmatched government experience.” The buyer cannot identify a service, delivery scope or authorised reference.

Stronger, if true: “Our Abu Dhabi team maintains mechanical assets for commercial facilities. The profile presents our licensed entity, service coverage, safety system and two client-approved project examples, with the relevant certificates in an annex.” Replace the example with your own verifiable evidence. Do not disclose a client name, contract value or logo without permission.

If a bilingual profile is useful for the audience, create a shared fact sheet and arrange competent Arabic review. A translated claim, figure or certificate name must match its English source; Arabic should not be added merely to decorate the document.

Brief and review

Five inputs that make the writing useful

  1. Who will read the profile: private buyer, partner, ADGPG user, ADNOC contact or another audience?
  2. Which exact service lines, licence activities and project examples are relevant?
  3. Which proof may be published, and which must stay in a restricted annex?
  4. Is there a tender or portal specification that controls format and attachments?
  5. Who can approve technical, legal, bilingual and design claims before use?

Labeeb can structure and write a company profile, align supporting proposal content or design a corporate presentation. Our consultation helps scope the buyer, evidence and deadline. We do not register suppliers, certify eligibility or promise a tender award. See our industry profile examples for document patterns.
