Flydubai Careers: How to Apply and Prepare Your CV in 2026
Find the official vacancy, check its role-specific requirements and present evidence that matches the application.
Checked 14 October 2026. Apply through the official flydubai careers site. It separates cabin crew, pilots, engineering and maintenance, behind-the-scenes roles, UAE national opportunities and internships. Search for a current vacancy and read that posting before preparing your CV. A general airline CV cannot replace the eligibility, qualifications and evidence requested for a particular job.
This guide explains how to use flydubai’s published career pages and build a truthful application. It is independent of flydubai; Labeeb cannot submit an application on the airline’s behalf unless a customer separately authorises application support, and cannot influence hiring or guarantee an interview.
1. Choose the right flydubai career route
Start from the airline’s career categories, then open the live vacancy. Cabin crew is a customer-service and safety role. Engineering covers functions such as line maintenance, technical services, materials and workshops, as described on flydubai’s engineering page. The behind-the-scenes page covers commercial, planning, procurement, legal, operations, information services and other support teams. Pilots have separate licence, hours and assessment requirements; read the exact pilot vacancy rather than borrowing cabin-crew advice.
Save the vacancy link, title and reference while it is open. Match your experience against its essential requirements. If a suitable job is not posted, flydubai offers a talent community; joining it is different from applying for a specific vacancy.
2. Check eligibility before spending time on the form
Requirements change by role. For example, flydubai’s cabin crew page, as checked on 14 October 2026, lists an age minimum, a height minimum, a high-school qualification, English fluency, valid passport, medical fitness and customer-service experience, among other conditions. Those are cabin-crew conditions, not airline-wide hiring rules. The job posting and current airline page govern your application.
Make a two-column checklist: requirement on the left; your genuine evidence on the right. If you do not meet a stated essential requirement, do not claim it in your CV. If a qualification, licence or document is pending, label its actual status. This saves time and helps the recruiter understand where you fit.
3. Tailor the CV to the job, not only to the airline
Use a clear headline naming your function and level. Put recent, relevant experience first and show what you did, the setting, the scale and a verifiable result. A cabin-crew applicant might evidence customer care, safety awareness, language ability, shift work and handling difficult situations from real hospitality, retail or aviation work. An engineer should prioritise the aircraft, systems, maintenance responsibilities, certifications and safety procedures actually held. A commercial or procurement applicant should show relevant projects, budgets, stakeholders and outcomes.
Use the words in the vacancy when they accurately describe your experience. Avoid copying the whole job description, invented metrics or unsupported claims that your CV will beat an applicant-tracking system. Keep dates, qualifications and contact details consistent with the application form. Save a clean PDF or the file type the portal requests and check that the text remains readable after upload.
If you are comparing airline-specific CV advice, see Labeeb’s Dubai cabin-crew CV guide. The examples there are preparation guidance, not flydubai’s own selection rules.
4. Follow the published application stages
For cabin crew, flydubai says candidates create a profile, complete the required fields, upload a résumé and other relevant documents, and answer role questions. Its published sequence then describes an online assessment, an on-demand video interview, application review and, for candidates meeting its criteria, an assessment day. A pilot path has different technical stages. Other vacancies may vary, so follow the instructions sent for your particular role rather than treating this sequence as a promise.
Prepare concise examples from real work for questions about customer service, teamwork, safety, problem solving or technical judgment as relevant to the role. Before a recorded interview, test your connection, camera and audio and answer the question actually asked. Do not share confidential employer information or claim qualifications you cannot document.
5. Verify the vacancy and protect your information
Flydubai’s official recruitment-fraud warning says its vacancies are advertised on flydubai websites, its official email ends in @flydubai.com, and it does not ask candidates for bank details to process documents or refer them to a third party to process applications or visas. Treat messages that demand such information as suspicious. Use the airline’s published contact route to check a questionable offer; do not rely on a logo, social-media message or a forwarded PDF alone.
Match each role to the evidence a recruiter can verify
The same CV should not be sent unchanged to cabin crew, engineering and office roles. Use the current vacancy as the final checklist, then select examples from work you actually performed.
| Role route | Evidence to prepare | Weak claim to replace |
|---|---|---|
| Cabin crew | A specific customer-service or safety situation, languages used at work, and accurate dates and qualifications. | “Excellent people skills” without an example of how you resolved a passenger or customer problem. |
| Engineering | Actual maintenance scope, systems, licences or training held, safety procedures followed and documented results. | A broad aircraft expertise claim that exceeds the candidate’s authorisation or experience. |
| Behind the scenes | Relevant projects, team or stakeholder scope, decisions made and measurable outcomes where records support them. | A generic airline profile that never addresses the procurement, planning or commercial vacancy. |
Worked example: A procurement applicant might describe a supplier comparison they conducted, the evaluation criteria and the resulting decision. They should give a savings figure only if it can be substantiated. This is a way to present evidence, not an assertion about flydubai’s screening algorithm.
