The system

What Mumaris Plus is — and the two steps inside it

Mumaris Plus is the online system of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) for healthcare practitioners. It handles two separate steps that are often confused:

Professional classification — the SCFHS studies and authenticates your qualifications and experience and grants your professional degree (for example specialist or consultant). You can apply for classification from outside Saudi Arabia.
Professional registration — after classification, your details are registered so you can practise. Registration requires lawful residence in the Kingdom, is valid for two years, and renewal can be requested three months before it ends.

Classification always comes first. Most delays happen there, because the decision rests on documents that must agree with each other.

What SCFHS actually verifies

Classification is decided on your documents, not on how well your CV reads. The SCFHS file typically includes:

Degree, transcripts and academic records
Internship and clinical training completion certificates
Your professional licence from your home country or last country of practice
Experience certificates from previous employers
Equivalence documents where your qualification requires them
The final DataFlow primary-source verification report
Passport (non-Saudis) or national ID (Saudis)

Depending on your profession and qualification, the outcome follows one of three routes: a direct decision, a practical evaluation, or an electronic written exam delivered through Prometric or Pearson VUE.

Match titles and dates exactly to each experience certificate — month and year, and the job title as the employer wrote it.
